How to get to Osnabrück
By plane
In particular if you are
coming from overseas the best and quickest way to get to Osnabrück is to fly
into Münster/Osnabrück (FMO).
A shuttle bus
(eXpress line X 150) will take you from there into the centre of Osnabrück,
to the "Neumarkt". It leaves about once an hour
and has all together 7 different drop offs in Osnabrück and depending on where
you are staying you chose the one that suits you best. (You’ll find a time
table etc. at www.osnabrueck-net.de under Tourismus&Verkehr).
Very close to the "Neumarkt", however, is the building where the Fall
School takes place. It is no. 47 on the map.
If you have any further
questions about how to get here please don't hesitate to ask, mail to cfallsc@cogsci.uni-osnabrueck.de.
By train
The building where the CL Fall School takes place (no. 47 on the map) is at walking distance from the Central Station.
You can also take a bus at Osnabrück Central Station:
Line 51 direction Wüste, Line 52 direction Rosenplatz, Line 91 direction Hellern, or Line 92 direction Hörne. Get off bus stop "Stadthalle/Universität". These buses depart directly from the station.
By car
Coming from North or South on A1 change to A30 at Lotter Kreuz. Exit Osnabrück-Hellern / Mitte and take direction Innenstadt.
The building where the Fall School takes place and the New
Lecture Halls can be reached by car. Paid parking at the public garage "Ledenhof" (on the map, the "P" in "Alte Münze" street) close to the sites is
available (€ 10,- per day). If you come to Osnabrück by car you are well
advised to park in the garage of your hotel and get around Osnabrück walking.
