Cognitive systems - biological as well as technical ones - are characterized by their ability to adapt to productive skills.
We hypothesize that this ability presupposes the interaction of subsymbolic and symbolic processing.

Events [9]
PhD students in the Research Training Group
participate in the curricular PhD Programme and collaborate with senior researchers on questions of the adaptivity of cognitive systems.

PhD Programme Cognitive Science [10]
The Research Training Group is financed by the University of Osnabrück for a period of three years starting in November 2008.
For information on study regulations, admission requirements, and application please consider the pages of the PhD Programme Cognitive Science
